Apple Pencil with USB-C port, low latency announced in India

In a bid to offer more choices to iPad users, Apple has introduced an all-new and more affordable Apple Pencil (USB-C). This stylus is equipped with pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity, making it a versatile tool for note-taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and much more.

The new Apple Pencil features a sleek matte finish and a magnetic flat side that allows it to conveniently attach to the side of the iPad for storage. It has a USB-C port that pairs with the iPad and charges via a USB-C cable. When magnetically attached to the iPad for storage, the new Apple Pencil enters a sleep state to conserve battery life.

Expanding the choices for Apple Pencil, this new edition maintains the standards set by its predecessors, offering advanced pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. It lacks a pressure sensitivity feature, unlike the Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd Generation.

The new Apple Pencil is fully compatible with iPadOS features like Scribble, Quick Note, and collaborative work. For iPad Pro models with M2 processors, the new Apple Pencil introduces hover support, enhancing precision in sketching and illustration.

It is compatible with iPad models that feature a USB-C port, including the 10th generation iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini.

The new Apple Pencil (USB-C) will be available for purchase separately for INR 7,900, with availability starting early in November.
