Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon X Elite, the company’s latest 4nm System-on-a-Chip with a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU and an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU for PCs yesterday. It also announced PCs powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor will roll out starting mid-2024.
Today, it has announced several PC OEM partners will use the Snapdragon X Elite chip in their laptops. These include HP, Acer, ASUS, Dell, HONOR, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, Samsung and Xiaomi.
Lenovo said that it will launch premium laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite.

Qualcomm said that it has worked with several companies to optimize Snapdragon X Elite for their software and hardware.
Davinci Resolve is coming to ARM-powered Windows laptops
BlackMagic Design has also confirmed that it will launch Davinci Resolve for ARM-based Windows devices in 2024. The company said that it has been working with Qualcomm to optimize Davinci Resolve for the Snapdragon X Elite.
Davinci Resolve’s Magic Mask is 1.7x faster in Snapdragon X Elite than the premium 12-Core processor with an integrated GPU on Windows, and it is 3x faster in Snapdragon X Elite when running on NPU compared to the same processor, claims the company.
