Apple updates MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ with M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips; India price starts at Rs. 1,69,900


Apple just introduced the new MacBook Pro powered by new M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max options. The 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M3 is up to 60 percent faster than the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro is now up to 40 percent faster than the 16‑inch model with M1 Pro.

The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max is up to 2.5x faster than the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Max, and up to 11x faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro model, said Apple.

All MacBook Pro models feature a Liquid Retina XDR display with 20 percent brighter SDR content at up to 600 nits, 1000 nits sustained and 1600 nits of peak brightness for HDR content.

It has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, support for up to four external displays first time and up to 128GB of unified memory in the M3 Max model. These come in 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch models with Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display, ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz, aluminium body, and Magic Keyboard, same as the predecessor.
