OnePlus 12 to feature Sony LYTIA ‘Pixel Stacked’ sensor


OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will feature a LYTIA “Pixel Stacked” sensor. This comes after the company partnered with Sony to use the Sony LYT-T808 LYTIA image sensor with dual-layer transistor pixel technology for the OnePlus Open foldable phone.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 12 will use the same LYT-T808 sensor, but at 50MP instead of 48MP in the OnePlus Open.

OnePlus China’s president Li Jie Louis says that all imaging flagships are equipped with Sony sensors, Sony + Snapdragon + Hasselblad, paired with OPPO Find flagship algorithm. This time, OnePlus 12 has unprecedented imaging capabilities, surpassing the competitors, and may exceed your imagination, he added.

OnePlus already confirmed 2K “X1 (Oriental) Screen” from BOE with up to 2600 nits brightness, and OPPO’s first-generation self-developed image quality engine Display P1 chip. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Earlier rumours revealed up to 24GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless fast charging.
