Lava Blaze 2 5G with 6.56″ 90Hz display, Dimensity 6020, up to 6GB RAM launched starting at Rs. 9999


Lava has launched Blaze 2 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone, as the successor to last year’s Blaze 5G. The phone packs a 6.56″ 90Hz LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranded Dimensity 700. It has up to 6GB RAM and additional 6GB of virtual RAM.

The phone has a 50MP rear camera with LED. There is a ring light works as a notification light. It has a 8MP front camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, glass back, and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18w fast charging. The phone runs Android 13 without any bloatware, and the company promises an upgrade to Android 14 and two years of security updates.

Pricing and availability

The Lava Blaze 2 5G comes in Glass Black, Glass Blue and Glass Lavender colours and is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 10,999. The phone will be available from Amazon.in and Lava India website online as well as offline stores starting from November 9.

Lava offers a ‘free service at home’ to the customers, in which service will be provided at customers’ doorstep within the phone’s warranty period.
