OPPO has introduced the A2, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the A series in China, after the launch of A2x last month. The phone packs a 6.72″ FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen, is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranded Dimensity 700. It has 12 GB RAM and additional 12GB of virtual RAM.
The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, 8MP front camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, textured look on the back, and packs a 5000mAh battery.

Pricing and availability
The OPPO A2 comes in Black, Green and Violet colours and is priced at 1699 yuan (USD 232 / Rs. 19,340 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB model costs 1799 yuan (USD 245 / Rs. 20,475 approx.). The phone is now available to order in China and will go on sale from November 6th.
