Resident Evil 4 is coming to iPhone, iPad, macOS on Dec 20


Apple showcased the Resident Evil 4 remake at the iPhone 15 series launch event in September and said that the game will be available for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max later this year. Now, the company has confirmed that the game will be available on December 20th.

The game features modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics, said Capcom. It is compatible with PlayStation, Xbox, or other wireless controllers. Even if you don’t have a controller, the built-in touch controls are fully customizable for easy, on-the-go play, says the company.

Compatible devices

The Resident Evil 4 remake will be available for

  • iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 15 Pro Max, running iOS 17 or later
  • iPads with the M1 chip or later, running iPadOS 17 or later
  • MacBooks, Mac mini and Mac Studio with iPads with the M1 chip or later, running macOS 13 and later

You can now pre-Order the game on the Apple App Store. There is a free demo that will be available for those wanting a taste of Leon’s intense mission. You can then purchase the game at USD 59.99 with the extra DLC pack (to upgrade to Deluxe) costing USD 19.99.
