With AI taking a leap in smartphones, Samsung is also taking further steps to leverage it. The company is set to revolutionize the mobile experience with its comprehensive AI capabilities with the introduction of Galaxy AI.
With One UI 6, Samsung introduced AI-powered upgrades to the Galaxy camera app to enhance your photography and videography experience. Now, it has promised to extend AI functionalities beyond just the camera app.
Galaxy AI is said to combine on-device AI developed by Samsung with cloud-based AI through collaborations with industry leaders, Galaxy AI promises barrier-free communication, simplified productivity, and unconstrained creativity.
We can also expect the company to leverage its own generative AI model, Samsung Gauss, which was introduced at the Samsung AI Forum 2023 yesterday.
Ahead of the launch of Galaxy AI, the firm had teased the Live Translate Call feature. The upcoming AI feature will provide users with real-time audio and text translations during phone calls, eliminating the need for third-party apps. With a focus on security and privacy, Galaxy AI ensures that private conversations remain on the device.
With this latest announcement, the firm has just teased Galaxy AI and is expected to roll out early next year with the introduction of the Galaxy S24 series. We can expect many more features along with its debut.
