Update 2: Red Magic has confirmed that the phone will pack a whopping, 6500mAh battery, the biggest on a Red Magic phone. It will also come with full-featured NFC and infrared remote control, said the company.
The phone supports 80W fast charging, yet thickness remains at 8.9mm, and the weight is 229g, which is just 1g heavier than the previous generation.
Update: Red Magic has posted full Red Magic 9 Pro images. The phone will come in three colors: Dark Knight, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver.
This shows iconic “Deuterium” and “09” characters, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 logo, and the cooling fane is present below the camera module. This has industry’s first custom RGB fan lighting effect and new RGB gaming shoulder keys, said the company.
Earlier: nubia’s Red Magic already confirmed that its next flagship will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and Red Magic 9 series phone also surfaced on Geekbench listing with the model number NX769J revealing Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM and Android 14.
This week, the company confirmed that the Red Magic 9 Pro will be introduced in China on November 23rd. Today, it has posted the image of the phone that shows a flat frame and a flat screen without any camera bumps, and the phone is 8.9mm.
The Red Magic phone uses exclusively customized integrated glass on the back. After 15 processes, it has created the integrated design on the back glass and the lens glass. It also ensured the light-transmitting polarizing effect and is wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. The company said it has created a single piece of back glass that can be used as a camera lens, to avoid any increase in thickness.
The Red Magic 9 Pro faced several challenges that limit device stacking.
In order to make the lens flush with the back, the Red Magic re-customized nearly half of the components, and the structure was newly arranged and designed to complete the ultimate packaging. And the thickness of the body is not increased. At the same time, the image quality is greatly improved. The phone also has a bigger battery and better heat dissipation, said the company.
