Samsung Galaxy M55 with the model number SM-M556B has surfaced on Geekbench 4 listing revealing Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of RAM and Android 14.
This comes days after the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, successor to Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 was introduced, revealing 15% improvements in CPU performance and 50% faster GPU performance.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy M54 with the model SM-M446K with Snapdragon 888 SoC earlier this month in South Korea as Jump 3, after it surfaced back in July.
It is not clear if this Galaxy M55 model will be launched next year as Jump 4 in Korea, since the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is a downgrade compared to Snapdragon 888.
Since the Galaxy M54 for the global markets used Exynos 1380 SoC, same as the Galaxy A54, the Galaxy M55 is expected to use the Exynos 1480 SoC, which surfaced in the Galaxy A55’s benchmark listing.
