RedMagic has announced the RedMagic 9 Pro and RedMagic 9 Pro+, the company’s new flagship gaming phones, in China, as it had promised. Both the phones are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The company says that it has scored 2,291,328 points on AnTuTu. It offers up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
These feature a 6.8-inch OLED BOE Q9+ screen a refresh rate of up to 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate, 2000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming + DC dimming, and up to 1600 nits brightness peak brightness.
The upgraded ICE 13 cooling system, which includes a 22,000 rpm built-in cooling fan, signature of the brand since its establishment, is designed with shark-fin blades and operates almost silently at just 4DB, barely audible to the human ear, and there is customizable RGB lighting.
It has first, 10182mm² VC, enabling heat dissipation to increase and temperatures to lower up to 18°C, providing users with an optimal everyday experience. The CUBE energy engine is scheduled through EVS, Power freezing and super-competitive technologies to achieve high energy and low consumption, and the game can reach high frame rates.
These have built-in independent gaming chip “Red Core R2 Pro ” for improving shoulder keys, enhancing vibrations, defining game lighting effects, and enhancing sound effects. These have 520Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers, with new lighting effects and glass material, the sensitivity is increased by 20%. The new X-axis linear motor is the large in the history of the Red Magic. It has Magic Sound stereo dual speakers and dual 1115K speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and 3mic for gaming.
The phones have 50MP 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5 sensor, 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera and a 16MP under-screen camera front camera. The Red Magic 9 Pro has a 6500mAh battery with 80W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in 35 minutes and the Red Magic 9 Pro+ has a 5500mAh battery with 165W charging that can charge up to 100% in 16 minutes.

The RedMagic 9 Pro Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night and Silver Wing 12GB + 256GB model costs 4999 yuan (USD 704 / Rs. 59,395 approx.), and the 12GB+ 512GB model costs 5399 yuan (USD 761 / Rs. 64,150 approx.).

The international version of REDMAGIC 9 Pro will be announced on December 18, with early bird offer from December 27, early sale from January 2, 2024 and open sales to start from January 3, 2024.
