Pixel 8a – Wallpapers
The collection, known as “Minerals,” includes variations to match the colors of the Pixel 8 series. New additions for the Pixel 8a suggest there might be additional color options.
For instance, “Titanite” sports a vibrant emerald green, likely for the green Pixel 8a, codenamed “emerald.” “Barite” comes in a light blue color, possibly for the blue Pixel 8a (codenamed “Sky”).
Another option, “Hematite,” is a black color likely intended for the Obsidian variant. There’s also a “porcelain” option without a specific mineral name attached. Rumors also hint at a new addition to Antti Kalevi’s “Motif” collection.
The anticipated release for the Pixel 8a is late Spring, around May. Initial leaks in September showcased a new hardware design and a display with rounded corners, confirmed by later CAD-based renders featuring a 6.1-inch display. While leaks are surfacing well before the expected launch, the exact details are yet to be confirmed.
