iQOO introduced the iQOO 12 series flagship smartphone earlier this month, and the iQOO 12 will launch in India in December. Now the details about the company’s next mid-range phone has surfaced, thanks to leaker Digital Chat Station.
This should be iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro, successor to iQOO Neo8 and Neo8 Pro that were introduced earlier this year.
The iQOO Neo9 is expected to feature a 1.5K screen, and get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, an upgrade from Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from the older model.
The phone is said to get Sony IMX920 sensor for the main camera, which was introduced in the vivo X100 smartphone, and we will have to find out if the phone will get self-developed imaging chip V2 chip, an upgrade from V1+ since the V3 chip is new and is exclusive to X100 Pro.
The iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro phones are expected to retain high-density batteries and 120W fast charging from the Neo8 series.
The leaker revealed a sketch of the phone revealing a centre-punch-hole screen, a new rear camera design. He also revealed that the phone will come with a 6.78-inch screen, narrow frame.
He added that the texture of the new phone has also been significantly improved. The color scheme has a flagship four-curved glass back cover and a dual color combination. It focuses on performance and the phone is said to be thinner.
We should know more details in the coming weeks.
