realme GT5 Pro: 5400mAh battery, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging confirmed; pricing surfaces

Ahead of the launch on December 7th, the starting price of the flagship realme GT5 Pro smartphone briefly surfaced on tmall website in China.

As you can see in the image, the phone has ultra-narrow bezels, which the company claims is the narrowest in the industry. realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase already revealed that the phone will feature over 3000nit peak brightness. Certification already revealed a 6.78-inch (2780×1264 pixels) 1.5K curved AMOLED display.

Price

This reveals 3499 yuan (USD 495 / Rs. 41,255 approx.) starting price for the phone. Even though the RAM and storage is not mentioned, assuming this will start at 12GB + 256GB, this should be competitive with several Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered devices slated for the release in China, and global markets in the coming weeks.

The company already confirmed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and now it has confirmed LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It has also confirmed 3VC iceberg cooling system, with an area of ​​12,000mm² and 6 times the equivalent thermal conductivity. The CPU core temperature drops to a maximum of 21.8°C, says the company.

This will come with Geek Performance Panel 2.0 that for the
first time and opens up dual scheduling of GPU+CPU.

realme has also confirmed that the phone will pack a 5400mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 12 minutes, and promises 8 hours of continuous Honor of Kings gaming and up to 406 hours of standby.

It will come with the Sony IMX890 telephoto camera, with a super large 1/1.56-inch sensor, surpassing OMNIVISION 64B by 76% and the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 by 104%.  With an f/2.6 aperture, it supports 3x optical zoom, OIS+EIS for powerful stabilization, and all-pixel omnidirectional focus.
