Xiaomi has introduced the new Redmi Buds 5 Pro, as promised. The charging box features a sleek, round pebble design, while the earphones showcase a ceramic coaxial dual-unit design, combining a 10mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter and a 11mm titanium-plated dynamic subwoofer. This design ensures clear treble and powerful bass.
The headset has received professional audio certifications from three major platforms: QQ Music’s Zhenpin Master Tape and Zhenpin Space Audio, NetEase Cloud Music’s NetEase Cloud Sound, and Kugou Music’s Viper Atmos. Powered by Bluetooth v5.3 LE, it also supports LHDC 5.0, Dual mode, Hi-Res audio, etc.
Redmi Buds 5 Pro boasts dual-engine acoustics, deep space noise reduction, and a new acoustic structure with a powerful algorithm, elevating overall sound quality and noise reduction capabilities.
The headset achieves a maximum noise reduction depth of 52dB, supports AI adaptive adjustment, and offers a 49ms low latency, along with a 4kHz noise reduction frequency band and 9m/s wind noise resistance for calls.
In terms of battery life, a quick 5-minute charge allows for 2 hours of continuous music playback. Each earbud has a battery life of 10 hours, providing a total of 38 hours of overall battery life, and it supports the Xiaomi headset App.
Additionally, a special gaming edition of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro is available. It features a Type-C interface professional wireless flash connector, compatibility with multiple devices, a 2.4GHz independent transmission link with 20ms ultra-low latency, and a CD-level LHDC Lossless audio codec for an enhanced gaming experience, along with dual-engine noise reduction.
