Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 13C smartphone in India on December 6th. Now it has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 13C 5G model alongside. This will make a global debut, since we had seen only the 4G model releasing globally.
Based on earlier rumours, the Redmi 13C 5G with the codename “Air” will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, so we will have to wait to find out if the phone will compete with the realme narzo 60x 5G which uses the same chip.
The Redmi 13C 4G model is powered by Helio G85 SoC for the global markets, same as the POCO C65, but it is rumoured to come with Helio G99 SoC for India, after the model surfaced in an online listing.
We should know more details about the Redmi 13C 5G model in the coming days, before it goes official in less than a week.
