OnePlus 12: 5400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging


OnePlus has confirmed battery and charging details of the flagship OnePlus 12 smartphone ahead of tomorrow’s launch in China.

The OnePlus 12 will pack a 5400mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging, and also supports wireless reverse charging. It can be charged up to 100% in 26 minutes for wired and 55 minutes for wireless.

The DOU battery life of OnePlus 12 has reached 1.79 days, which exceeds all Pro flagships in terms of battery life, said OnePlus. Even after 4 years or 1,600 charge and discharge cycles, the battery capacity will be ≥80%, it added. The phone has SUPERVOOC S battery management chip, offering an ultra-high discharge efficiency of 99.5%.

The company has also confirmed IP65 dustproof and waterproof ratings, which the OnePlus 11 lacked.

In addition, OnePlus 12 also supports USB 3.2 Gen1, for faster transfers, multi-function NFC, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, super-linear stereo dual speakers, and AAC’s Bionic Vibration Motor Turbo, which adapts and connects various applications and games, and also adjusts the vibration effects of 72 categories and 700+ systems in the system.

The phone will feature exclusive self-developed “holographic audio” technology to project up to 12 audio source channels to different directions for simultaneous playback, making it clearly distinguishable.

It will come with Super Signal Project, achieving full coverage of Wi-Fi, cellular data, weak network games, and near-field communication core scenarios.

To remind you, the OnePlus 12 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, has up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, Sony LYT-808 flagship sensor, world’s first 2K BOE X1 screen with a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
