iQOO 12 with 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launched in India starting at Rs. 52,999

iQOO just launched the iQOO 12, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India, as it had promised. The phone has a flat 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with 2160Hz PWM dimming, peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, and is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in India.

The phone has an aviation-grade aluminum middle frame, the largest 6010 mm² ultra-large VC vapor chamber in iQOO’s history, and 11 temperature sensors to monitor the temperature changes of the entire device in real time. The phone has Q1 Self-developed chip that offers frame sensing technology, real-time monitoring of load, precise scheduling and distribution, and matching large, medium and small cores for game threads with different load requirements

It runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 on top, and the company has promised 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates, same as older flagships.

The phone has a 50MP 1/1.3-inch main camera, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 64-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera. There is second-generation OIS, and use multi-frame fusion algorithm and bionic night sky algorithm for the best sky shots in seconds.

The Alpha is inspired from blackness comes a faint, cool beam, like a lightning-fast racing car that leaves all its competition far behind in a plume of dust sparkling under the sunlight. The legend edition features tricolor patterns that embody the ultimate pursuit of performance and control. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

Pricing and availability

The iQOO 12 comes in Legend and Alpha colours and is priced at Rs. 52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version and the 16GB + 512GB version costs Rs. 57,999.

The phone will be available from Amazon.in and iQOO.com starting from December 14th and priority pass users can get it from December 13th.
