HMD launched the Nokia 106 and Nokia 110 4G feature phones in India earlier this year, both featuring UPI payment support. Now, to add more convenience to users, the company is introducing YouTube Shorts and a range of other cloud apps to its best-selling feature phones.
Users can use these services by tapping the cloud icon and logging in to their Google account, which offers personalized content. Bid farewell to device slowdowns as these innovative applications promise seamless and uninterrupted access to YouTube Shorts and a curated suite of eight versatile apps like BBC Hindi, Weather, News, and Games, said the company.
As these apps are in the cloud, we can expect them to run smoothly on these feature phones, provided they are well-equipped with good 4G connectivity.
The upcoming units will ship with the Cloud app, and existing Nokia 110 4G users should receive software updates within the next two weeks. The Nokia 106 4G should receive the software update in the future.
You can purchase the Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 106 4G on Amazon.in.
