Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta app is now available for Meta Quest devices

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta app is now available for Meta Quest devices (Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro headset users), opening up new gaming possibilities and allowing them to stream games without the need for a console or TV.

To get started with the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) app:
  • Download the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta app from the Meta Quest Store.
  • Follow the tutorial to pair it with your supported controller.
  • Log in to your Microsoft account with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.

Inside the app, access hundreds of games from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library. Choose from four display sizes and immerse yourself in an Xbox-themed virtual space, or enjoy your physical surroundings with Quest 3 or Pro’s stereoscopic full-color Passthrough.

Controller Compatibility

Xbox controllers, PlayStation 4 controllers, and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers are currently supported, with PlayStation 5 controller support coming soon.

Supported Games

Experience popular titles like Starfield and Forza Motorsport on a large virtual screen. Dive into ID@Xbox gems such as Unpacking or enjoy classics like Fallout 4 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Have some lighthearted fun with games like Goat Simulator and LEGO Star Wars, all available with your Game Pass membership.

Availability

The Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) app is available on the Meta Quest Store for devices like Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro. However, please note that it requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership and a supported controller (sold separately).
