OPPO has introduced A59 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone in India. This is a successor to the A58, which was announced back in August. It has a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD screen, is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranded Dimensity 700 SoC and has up to 6GB of RAM with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. It runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top.
The phone has a 13MP rear camera along with a 2MP portrait sensor and an 8MP front camera inside the notch. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB Type-C.

The OPPO A59 5G comes in Starry Black and Silk Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 14999 for the 4GB + 128GB model and the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 16,999. It will be available from Dec 25 at the OPPO store, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and other retail outlets.
