iQOO has announced the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones in China, as it had promised. These pack a 6.78-inch 1.5K 1-144Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 16,000-level brightness adjustment with SGS low blue light certification, and peak brightness of 1400 nits.
The Neo9 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and the Neo9 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, and feature Q1 self-developed chip. These pack up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of heat dissipation, these feature a 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling, with an area of 6043mm², accounting for 48.82% of the entire projection area. At the same time, the heat dissipation system has also achieved upgrades in material and structural design: the entire body is made of 3D stainless steel stamped VC.
The Neo9 and 9 Pro have a Sony IMX920 VCS sensor with OIS, the same sensor as the vivo X100. The Neo9 has a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and the standard model has a 8MP ultra-wide camera. Both these have a 16MP front camera.
The glass version of the iQOO Neo9 series is as thin as 7.99mm, adopts a new exquisite square design, and the photography module accounts for just 7.62%; it is equipped with a flagship micro-curved glass back cover and a body width of 75.7mm. The red and white version has a two-color double-grain plain leather splicing technology, the nautical blue color scheme uses enamel texture glass technology, and the fighting black color scheme uses fluorite AG glass technology.
The phones pack a 5160mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging that can charge from 1% to 40% in 9 minutes.
