Xiaomi HyperOS confirmed to launch in India soon

Xiaomi already confirmed the launch of Redmi Note 13 series smartphones in India on January, 4th. Today, the company has started teasing the Xiaomi HyperOS in India and confirmed that it will be launched in the country soon.

This comes after the company announced that HyperOS will arrive for Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones globally starting from Q1, 2024. Xiaomi India CMO said that “2024 is a landmark year for Xiaomi India & you’ll see tons of action” and asked “Btw, do you know why ’24 is important for Xiaomi India?”

Xiaomi HyperOS relies on Linux and Xiaomi’s self-developed Xiaomi Vela system, allowing it to work efficiently with various devices, regardless of RAM size. Xiaomi HyperOS is lightweight, using minimal resources compared to competitors, said the company when it was introduced in China back in October.

The Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ devices that will launch on January 4th in India are still expected to run MIUI, so should get more details about the roll-out of HyperOS for its flagships and the Redmi phones at the launch event later this week.
