After teasers, itel India has launched the itel A70. The smartphone bears the tag “Truly Awesome” and is marketed as India’s first 12GB RAM (4GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM) + 256GB ROM smartphone under Rs. 7,500.
It features a large 6.6-inch HD+ screen, 13MP AI main camera, and an 8MP AI Portrait Selfie camera, offers up to 256GB of storage, and 4GB RAM along with optional 8GB extended RAM which sums up as 12GB RAM smartphone as the company promotes.
There’s a dewdrop notch with Dynamic Bar technology that allows you to quickly check your battery status, incoming calls, and unlocking status. The phone is slim and lightweight, measuring just 8.6mm in thickness, and it is available in four different colors.
The phone is powered by a T603 octa-core processor with itel OS 13 system based on Android 13 (Go edition) for a seamless user experience. The Smart Link+ technology reduces latency by 20% and improves signal stability, especially in areas with weak connections.

The itel A70 comes in four colors: Brilliant Gold, Stylish Black, Field Green, and Azure Blue. It is priced at Rs. 6299 for the 4GB + 64GB model, Rs. 6799 for the 4GB+128GB model, and Rs. 7,299 for the 4GB+256GB model.
The first sale will happen on the 5th of January at noon via Amazon.in and offline stores.
