OnePlus just announced the OnePlus Ace 3, the company’s latest smartphone in the Ace series in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X1 AMOLED with 1-120Hz 8T LTPO, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and supports wet hand control.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It has the same Tiangong cooling system with 9140mm² VC vapor chamber, as OnePlus 12 and claims AnTuTu score of over 1.74 million.
The phone has a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX890 sensor, support for OIS, along with a 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera, same as the Oneplus 11R.
The phone still retains the three-stage alert slide, but the company has repositioned it to the left-hand side of the phone, which allows OnePlus to introduce a new integrated antenna and the Alert Slider solution on the new device to deliver an enhanced antenna performance for gaming, said the company.
It packs a 5500mAh battery, the largest on a OnePlus phone, and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charge, which can fully charge the phone in 27 minutes. It is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S power management chip and has the industry’s highest discharge efficiency of 99.5%, says the company.

Pricing and availability
The OnePlus Ace 3 comes in Gold, Cool Blue and Iron Gray colours and is priced at 2599 yuan (USD 365 / Rs. 30,440 approx.) for the 12GB+256GB model, 16GB+512GB is priced at 2999 yuan (USD 422 / Rs. 35,125 approx.) and the 16GB+1TB is priced at 3,499 yuan (USD 492 / Rs. 41,610 approx.).
The phone is now available to order and will go on sale in China starting from January 8th. It will launch in global markets including India as OnePlus 12R on January 23rd.
