HONOR has announced HONOR X50 GT smartphone in China, after the X50. It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display with up to 1200 nits peak brightness, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, comes with 5100mm² VC cooling and has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB storage.
The phone has a 108MP rear camera with Samsung HM6 sensor, 2MP secondary camera, 8MP front camera and supports millisecond-level capture, high dynamic light and shadow, and 3x lossless zoom.
The phone packs a 5800mAh battery, and the company says that the company’s health won’t go below 80% even after 1,000 charge-discharge cycles. It has 35W fast charging. It has SGS five-star drop-resistant and drop-resistant certification for the whole device, including the curved screen, which is a first.

The HONOR X50 GT comes in Silver and Midnight Black colours and is priced at 2199 yuan (USD 309 / Rs. 26,165 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB, 2399 yuan (USD 337 / Rs. 28,550 approx.) for 16GB + 256GB, 2599 yuan (USD 365 / Rs. 30,930 approx.) for 16GB + 512GB and the 16GB + 1TB model costs 2899 yuan (USD 407 / Rs. 34,500 approx.).
The phone is now available to order and will go on sale starting from January 9th in China with up to 200 yuan discount for the first sale.
