Infinix has confirmed the launch of Smart 8, the company’s next budget smartphone in the Smart series, after the launch of Smart 8 HD last month. The company has highlighted 50MP rear camera in the Indian version, compared to 13MP camera in the global model.
The phone will feature a 6.6 HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, interactive magic ring, powered by Unisoc T606 SoC with 4GB of RAM with 4GB of additional virtual RAM and a 50-megapixel rear camera along with an AI lens. The company has highlighted portrait mode and AR shot features.
There is a ring LED flash on the back, an 8-megapixel camera on the front with flash light, which is the first in the segment, says the company. It runs Android 13 with XOS 13. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery.
The Infinix Smart 8 will come in Rainbow Blue, Shiny Black, Timber Black, and Galaxy White colours, and will be sold on Flipkart after the launch priced under Rs. 7000. We should know the exact price of the phone when it launches later this week.
