OPPO Reno11 series will run ColorOS 14 out of the box

Ahead of the launch of the OPPO Reno11 series in India on Friday, January 12th, OPPO has confirmed that the phones will run Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box for the first time in India.

The company has also confirmed that the phones will receive 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates, so the phone should get up to Android 17.

ColorOS 14 which was introduced in November last year offers optimised Aquamorphic Design, AI-powered features for improved efficiency, upgraded proprietary technology for ultra-smooth performance, and easy-to-use safety and privacy protection tools.

The Reno11 Series’ Always-On Display—named Homeland—depicts scenes of wild animals in nature. ColorOS 14 continues to enhance this feature by introducing a new GO Green Always-On Display to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection to align with OPPO’s belief in “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World.”

OPPO continues its collaboration with Snapchat, introducing new features such as the Snapchat lock-screen shortcut and Snapchat widget for Shelf. Snapchat is among the first third-party apps to directly integrate into the Shelf Card.

Users can now change their lock-screen shortcut to Snapchat for even faster access. Also, the new Snapchat card for Shelf enables users to see updates in messages, status, and location of their closest friends at a glance.

The OPPO Reno11 series will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to OPPO India online store and offline stores after the launch.
