OPPO Find X7 Ultra with 6.82″ 2K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, quad 50MP cameras, IP68 ratings announced


OPPO just announced the Find X7 Ultra, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the new Find X7 series at an event in China, as it had promised.

The phone has a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED 1-120Hz LTPO screen with 10-bit color depth and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. It has ProXDR  feature and also comes with Dolby Vision support.

The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It has aerospace-grade cooling system that includes, 7930mm² extra large VC cooling. The phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14, and the company promises 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patch updates for the phone.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra is the first smartphone to feature dual periscope telephoto camera. It has four 50MP rear cameras that include a 1-inch 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor, 50MP ultra-wide-Sony LYT-600 sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS for up to 3x optical zoom for 65mm shots and a 50MP periscope telephoto Sony IMX858 sensor with OIS for up to 6x optical zoom for 135mm closeup shots.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra also upgrades professional Hasselblad portraits and a new generation of super light and shadow image engine. It has Android’s first instant dual-frame technology, and the shutter response speed is increased by 4 times, and offers industry’s first HDR preview, says the company.

The phone comes in leather back with glass for the camera part, features 602mm³ bionic super vibration motor and has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging.

Pricing and availability

OPPO Find X7 Ultra comes in Ocean and Sky, Desert Silver Moon, and Pine Shadow Blue colors and is priced at 5,999 yuan (USD 844 / Rs. 71,200 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB, 6,499 yuan (USD 914 / Rs. 77,130 approx.) for 16GB + 256GB and the top-end 16GB + 512GB model is priced at 6,999 yuan (USD 985 / Rs. 83,065 approx.).

The phone is now available to order in China and will go on sale starting from January 12th.

OPPO has confirmed that the Find X7 will get a satellite communication version, enabling handset and hands-free dual-mode calls for the first time. This version will be released at the end of March in China.
