realme has announced that it will host the realme 2024 Media Preview Event titled ‘Hey Flagship, Meet Periscope,’ in Las Vegas on January 10th, spotlighting the periscope telephoto technology and its photographic capabilities.
The company already announced that it will bring the latest periscope telephoto technology to more realme smartphones, after the GT5 Pro launch last year.
realme added that Periscope telephoto is typically expensive and technically challenging, and has historically only been available on flagship phones, and said that it is making this technology more accessible to younger users. We can expect this in the realme 12 Pro+ that surfaced recently.
At the beginning of 2024, realme’s Founder and CEO, Sky Li, issued an open letter, announcing that realme will be A tech brand that better understands young users.
This event announcement comes shortly after the brand introduced its new slogan, ‘Make it real,’ marking 2024 as ‘the year of refreshment’. Besides the periscope, the event will spotlight other advanced image technologies by realme.
