NVIDIA has introduced new RTX 40 series SUPER that includes GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics cards. These use the same 4nm process from TSMC, are based on the new Ada Lovelace Architecture and feature DLSS 3.
The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER has 20% more CUDA Cores than the GeForce RTX 4070 for gaming at max settings at 1440p. In the most graphically intensive games, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER is faster than the GeForce RTX 3090 while using a fraction of the power, and with DLSS 3 it’s 1.5x faster, says the company.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER features more CUDA Cores and more memory, increasing the frame buffer to 16GB, accompanied by a 256-bit memory bus. It’s the perfect GPU to max out your high refresh 1440p panels, and it can even game at 4K, says the company.
The GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER has more CUDA Cores and the world’s fastest GDDR6X video memory (VRAM) running at 23 Gbps, says the company. It offers 4K fully ray-traced gaming, and the most demanding applications of Generative AI.
In Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Portal with RTX, it promises fully ray traced visuals even with every other setting cranked to the absolute max. It is 1.4X faster than the RTX 3080 Ti without frame generation, in the most graphically intensive games. With 836 AI TOPS, DLSS Frame Generation delivers an extra performance boost, making the RTX 4080 SUPER twice as fast as an RTX 3080 Ti.
