HONOR has introduced the HONOR Magic6 series smartphones as the successor to last year’s Magic5 series in China ahead of MWC 2024 in February.
The HONOR Magic6 Pro follows the design language of its predecessor. It features a Quad-curved floating screen, 6.8-inch 120Hz OLED LTPO Adaptive Dynamic Refresh Rate, up to 5000 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and has Jurhino glass, which is 10 times more drop-resistant and has won the world’s first Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for five-star drop resistance, says the company.
It has 50-megapixel main camera, SMA memory metal motor to achieve fast and precise focusing, f/1.4-f/2.0 ultra-large intelligent variable aperture and is the first to feature a 1 / 1.49-inch 180-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. There is also an ultra-wide camera and a 50MP+TOF depth camera on the front.
The HONOR Magic6 has a 6.78-inch screen, and other display specifications are the same as the Pro version. This has a 50MP front camera, 50MP rear main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle and 32MP 2.5x telephoto camera.
Both the phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and run Magic UI 8.0. The Pro model has IP68 ratings and satellite services for real-time voice and two-way text messages.
