OPPO Reno11 and Reno11 Pro launched in India starting at Rs. 29,999

OPPO has launched the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro smartphones in India, as it had promised. The Reno11 Series feature 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED flexible screen that support 10-bit colours, and HDR brightness of up to 950 nits.

The Reno11 gets a Dimensity 7050 SoC, same as the Reno10, and the Reno11 Pro is powered by Dimensity 8200 SoC, an upgrade from Snapdragon 778G in Reno10 Pro. The phones run Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box for the first time in India. The company has also confirmed that the phones will receive 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

In terms of camera, the OPPO Reno11 series comes standard with a 32MP 2x telephoto lens, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera. The Reno11 has a new 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor, and the Pro model retains the 50MP IMX890 main sensor.

OPPO’s Portrait AI can distinguish between skin blemishes and beauty spots to eliminate the former but retain the latter; it also factors skin tone, age and the sex of the subject before applying filters of beautification and skin smoothening, said OPPO.

The Reno11 Series also feature fully-functional Pro mode that lets you adjust ISO, shutter speed, exposure value, focus and white balance. The device even supports screen overlays: a 3×3 grid, a diagonal and the Golden Spiral guides—activated from Camera Settings—to help frame perfect snapshots with aesthetically-pleasing compositions.

The Reno11 Pro has a 3D curved glass with a satin finish that makes it smudge-free.  The pearl white colour has a Shimmering Pearl design created by integrating three layers into one piece of glass, incorporating 3.6 million tiny reflective surfaces to create its signature lustre, said the company. The phone also comes in Rock Grey colour with OPPO Glow finish.

The Reno11 Pro is equipped with a 4600mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC, which enables 100% charging in 28 minutes. The Reno11, on the other hand, has a 5000mAh battery and supports 67W SuperVOOC charging that chan charge the phone up to 100% in 45 minutes.

Both devices feature OPPO’s Battery Health Engine (BHE) technology, which improves battery life and sustainability. The emphasis on faster charging and convenient fragmented short-time charging supports prolonged usage scenarios, allowing users to quickly recharge their devices, said the company.
