Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 vs Exynos 2400 Launch Countries

Samsung is bringing back its homegrown Exynos chipset back to the flagship Galaxy lineup in several markets outside the US. The Samsung Exynos 2400 was teased late last year. Let us go through the list of countries where Samsung is using Snapdragon and Exynos.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

The S24 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset across all countries and this is the same as last year and it is not surprising that Samsung is sticking to Qualcomm for the top-end flagship device.

Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+

In several markets such as US, China, Japan and Canada, the S24 and S24+ will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In all other countries, the S24 and S24+ will be powered by the Deca-core Exynos 2400 chipset.

Over the years, the Galaxy devices powered by Snapdragon have been more popular amongst users which is why Samsung is sticking to Qualcomm chips for the S24 Ultra. The chipset aside, the functionality should be the same across both versions. We would be getting our hands on both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Exynos 2400 powered S24 and it would be interesting to compare the performance numbers.
