OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12, the company’s latest flagship smartphone, in India today. Alongside, the company also launched the AIRVOOC 50W Wireless Charger in the country.
The OnePlus 9 Pro back in 2021 was the first OnePlus phone to support 50W wireless charging technology. Now the technology is back with the AIRVOOC 50W wireless charging.
This can charge the OnePlus 12 up to 50% in 23 minutes and 100% in 55 minutes. The built-in double coil intelligently senses the wireless charging zone of the mobile phone whether it is placed horizontally or vertically, says OnePlus.
The proprietary air cooling technology improves heat dissipation by 23%. It keeps the phone cool during wireless flash charging. With intelligent sleep mode, it lowers the charging power and fan speed, and puts the phone on mute when it is late at night, adds OnePlus.
The charger is protected with six security measures including protections for overvoltage, overcurrent, over temperature, electrostatic, undervoltage, and foreign objects. Foreign Object Detection (FOD) intelligently identifies metal foreign objects such as keys and coins, then sends an alarm and cuts off power automatically.
In addition to AIRVOOC, the wireless charging pad also works with products that support Qi protocol. It comes with a USB-A to Type-C Cable in the box, and you will have to use the OnePlus charger with it.

The OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Wireless Charger comes in White colour, is priced at Rs. 5,499 and is available for purchase from the OnePlus India online store, and should also be available from OnePlus stores offline.
