The first set of renders for the Google Pixel 9 Pro that is expected to launch later this year has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This has a flat display, same as the Pixel 8 Pro, but this also shows a flat design on the sides and the back.
The phone is said to feature a 6.5-inch screen, making it smaller than the 6.7-inch screen in the Pixel 8 Pro. This coincides with earlier rumours which said that smaller pro-level Pixel 9 is in the works. We can expect a Quad HD screen, and we could see an increase in the peak brightness.
This also shows a sleeker camera bump that houses a main, ultra-wide and a telephoto camera module. The phone is said to measure 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5~12mm, making it slightly thinner than the predecessor. Placements of the buttons doesn’t see a change, but the SIM slot has been moved from the left side to the bottom.
You can see the antenna bands since the phone will have a metal frame. The Tensor G4, dubbed “Redondo,” should power the Pixel 9 series.
Other specifications of the phone are not known yet, but we can expect more details in the coming months since it is expected to be introduced only in October.
