After the Pixel 9 Pro’s renders that surfaced earlier this week, the first set of renders for the upcoming Google Pixel 9 have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a flat frame and back similar to the Pixel 9 Pro.
This also shows triple rear cameras, including a telephoto camera for the first time in a non-Pro Pixel model. The phone is said to feature a 6.1-inch screen, and we can expect it to feature a FHD+ AMOLED screen to keep the cost less than the Pro model.
The phone is said to measure 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5~12.0mm, making it bigger, but thinner than the Pixel 8 even though the display is said to be slightly smaller than the 6.2-inch screen in the Pixel 8.
Placements of the buttons doesn’t see a change, but the SIM slot has been moved from the left side to the bottom. You can see the antenna bands since the phone will have a metal frame. The Tensor G4, dubbed “Redondo,” should power the Pixel 9 series.
Other specifications of the phone are not known yet, but we can expect more details in the coming months since it is expected to be introduced only in October.
