Redmi has just announced the upcoming launch of Redmi Buds 5 in India on February 12, following its successful release in China last year, and the global launch a few weeks back. The official unveiling on social media X (formerly Twitter) came with the hashtag #SuperBuds.
In terms of specifications, Redmi highlighted the 12.4nm Titanium drivers, 46dB Hybrid ANC, various sound modes, dual device pairing, and dual-mic for calls with AI voice enhancement.
For battery life, the company hints at an impressive 38 hours of music playback and supports fast charging through USB Type-C. The earbuds come in a striking violet color, with additional options of black and white expected.
Additional features include EQ effects, touch controls, and support for customization and updates through the Xiaomi Earbuds app. Interested users can now find a ‘Notify Me’ page on Amazon.in.
Although pricing details haven’t been disclosed, in China, the pricing is at 199 yuan (approximately USD 27 or Rs. 2,300), and the global pricing is USD 46 (Rs. 3,810 approx.), so the expected pricing in India is likely to be in a similar range.
