Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 renders show the phones in several colors

Samsung is preparing to release two new mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55. The latest leaks have revealed clearer images of both phones, including their color options, shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass on X (formerly Twitter).

The Galaxy A35 is set to feature an Infinity-O design screen with a punch-hole camera, an upgrade from the previous model’s U-shaped notch. Similarly, the Galaxy A55 will also adopt this design with a metal frame for a more premium look, and both phones boast thinner bezels compared to their predecessors.

These phones follow Samsung’s new ‘Key Island’ design language and come in Black, Green, Pink, and White colors. Leak hints suggest they will have IP67 dust and water resistance ratings and Knox security.

Both phones are rumored to boast a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, stereo speakers, and Samsung Pay support.

Benchmark leaks indicate the Galaxy A35 will run on the Exynos 1380 processor, while the Galaxy A55 will feature the new Exynos 1480 processor with a Xclipse 530 GPU. Expect 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

Both phones will have 50MP primary cameras with OIS and 5MP macro cameras. The Galaxy A35 may include an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the A55 could feature a 12MP ultrawide sensor. Software-wise, they are likely to run Android 14-based One UI 6 out of the box.

Samsung typically unveils its Galaxy A series phones in March, so we can anticipate a similar timeline for these releases. More details are expected to surface in the coming days.
