Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A3, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the ‘A series’ in India, as it had promised. The phone has a larger 6.71″ HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, while retaining the Octa-Core Helio G36, and has up to 6GB of RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
It has a 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, a leather-like design for the Olive Green and the Lake Blue and Midnight Black comes with a glass back design.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging over USB Type-C.

The Redmi A3 is priced at Rs. 7,299 for the 3GB + 64GB model, 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 8,299 and the top-end 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 9,299.
The phone will be available from Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and retail stores starting from February 23rd.
