Nothing Phone (2a) price surfaces ahead of launch

Earlier this week, Nothing confirmed the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a), and now, ahead of the March 5 unveiling, reports from Dealabs have leaked details about the price and storage options. The device is expected to offer two storage choices: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, available in Black and White colors.

According to the report, the Nothing Phone (2a) will debut in Europe with a starting price of  €349 (Rs. 31,075 approx.), which is €50 lower than the original Nothing Phone.

The higher storage variant, 12GB/256GB, would cost €399 (Rs. 35,529 approx.).

This price significantly undercuts the current retail price of €679 for the Nothing Phone (2) in Europe, especially considering the main 8GB/128GB variant.

Traditionally, the phone will maintain its transparent design and glyph interface. However, the company has made adjustments to the glyph’s placement, consistent with earlier leaked images.

Based on rumors, the device is reportedly to feature a 6.7″ 120Hz AMOLED screen, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. In terms of optics, it is expected to come with a 50MP Samsung S5KGN9 sensor for the main camera and a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide camera, along with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor for the front camera.

The new smartphone aims to offer a more budget-friendly option alongside the pricier Nothing Phone (2). Additionally, ticket sales for the India launch event of the Nothing Phone (2a) began yesterday.
