HONOR recently announced its upcoming event for MWC 2024 on February 25th. Alongside the release of the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR and the HONOR Magic6 Series, the company confirmed the launch of another flagship smartphone developed in collaboration with Porsche Design.
This revelation came through a joint interview with HONOR’s Chief Designer, Yuan, and Carsten Monnerjan, Head of Design at Porsche Lifestyle Group, featured in Wallpaper magazine.
The interview, known for its authority in global design, delved into the partnership’s aim of blending advanced technology with functional design to introduce premium products into the luxury smart devices segment.
The interview provided insights into the development approach, discussing iconic design elements, colors, materials, technologies, and production principles inspired by the automotive industry.
Additionally, it hinted at an upcoming unnamed device to be unveiled at MWC, showcasing the shared pioneering spirit of both brands. Sketches of the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR will also debut in the publication.
The new smartphone might carry the name Magic6 Pro Porsche Design or introduce a new series from HONOR. More information is expected to be unveiled during the HONOR launch event on February 25th at 2:00 pm CET (6:30PM IST) at MWC 2024 in Barcelona.
