Samsung has announced the rollout of Galaxy AI features to a wider range of Galaxy devices with the introduction of the new One UI 6.1 update.
The One UI 6.1 update will be available for the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold series, and Tab S9 series, aligning with the recently launched Galaxy S24 series.
Enhanced Communication with Live Translate
Users can now enjoy communication-enhancing features previously available only on AI-supported models. These features include adjusting message tones and translating messages into 13 languages using Chat Assist.
Live Translate facilitates real-time voice and text translations during phone calls, while Interpreter offers split-screen text translations for spontaneous conversations.
Productivity with Circle to Search
Improvements in search functionality with Circle to Search, integration with Google, and intuitive search results enhance user productivity.
Note Assist and Browsing Assist provide organizational tools for note-taking and staying updated with news articles. Transcript Assist simplifies meeting recordings by transcribing and summarizing them.
Galaxy AI Tools for Creativity
Galaxy AI unleashes creativity with tools like Generative Edit for resizing, repositioning, or realigning objects in photos, and Edit Suggestion for quick photo enhancements.
Capturing Instant Slow-mo generates additional frames for slow-motion videos, capturing dynamic moments effortlessly.
Additionally, customizing Galaxy devices has become simpler with AI-generated wallpapers, allowing users to personalize their devices effortlessly.
Availability
The new One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI features will roll out across the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series starting from the end of March.
