Redmi Book Pro 14/16 2024 and Redmi Display G Pro 27″ MiniLED gaming monitor announced


Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi Book Pro line, introducing the Redmi Book 14 and Redmi Book 16, alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Pad 6S Pro 12.4 in China yesterday.

The Redmi Book Pro 16 2024 boasts 3.1K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 100% P3 color gamut, 500 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, multiscreen color calibration, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 offers 2.8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color gamut, 400 nits brightness, and DC dimming.

Underneath, the Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 and Redmi Book Pro 16 2024 sport Intel Core i5-13500H or i7-13700H processors for the 2024 Redmi Book Pro 16, and an Intel Core i5-13500H processor with Intel Arc GPUs for the Redmi Book Pro 14.

Both laptops feature a 1080p webcam and 2W speakers. However, they differ in display, battery, and charging. The Redmi Book Pro 14 has an 80Wh battery with 100W wired charging, while the Redmi Book Pro 16 supports 99W battery with 140W charging.

They can be configured with up to 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM, and include ports like 3.5 mm jack, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and USB Type-C. However, in terms of performance release, the Redmi Book Pro 14 has reduced to 65W, while the Redmi Book Pro 16 to 70W.

The Redmi Book Pro 2024 is fully integrated into Xiaomi’s HyperOS, supporting HyperOS Connect, offering hardware collaboration like camera and network sharing, cross-end clipboard, application relay, screen expansion, and comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

Alongside the new Redmi laptops, Xiaomi introduces the Redmi Display G Pro 27 MiniLED gaming monitor.

The Redmi Display G Pro 27 is a 27-inch monitor with an IPS panel and Mini LED backlights. It reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. With a high refresh rate of 180Hz and a 1ms GTG response time for gaming.

It features a stylish black-and-white e-sports design with white baffles at the back and circular RGB backlighting effects. The stand is adjustable and VESA mount compatible, also supporting lifting, pitch angle fine-tuning, weighing 6.8kg.

The monitor’s advanced MiniLED technology, with 4608 beads across 1152 zones, ensures top-notch contrast and brightness. Coupled with FreeSync technology, it delivers smooth gaming without screen tearing.
