Truecaller has introduced AI-powered call recording for users in India, accessible on both iOS and Android devices.
This feature allows users to record incoming and outgoing calls directly within the Truecaller app, streamlining the process of capturing and managing important conversations.
Inlcuded in Premium Subscription
The AI-driven call recording feature offers detailed transcriptions of entire phone calls along with AI-generated summaries, boosting productivity – said the company.
Available through Truecaller’s Premium subscription, it offers high voice clarity and supports English and Hindi calls from any caller.
How to use it on iPhone?
On iPhones, users can initiate call recording by tapping “Record a call” in the Truecaller app’s Search tab. This prompts a call to a special recording line provided by Truecaller.
Once the call ends, users receive a notification when the recording is ready. Recorded calls are stored locally on the device, with the option for iCloud backup.
How to use it on Android?
Android users can start or stop recordings with a dedicated button in the Truecaller dialer or a “floating” button on other dialers.
After the call, users receive a notification when recordings and transcriptions are ready. They can easily manage recordings within the app.
Pricing and Availability
Truecaller’s AI-powered Call Recording is available with the Premium plan, priced at Rs. 75 per month or Rs. 529 per year.
Currently, supporting English and Hindi transcriptions, Truecaller plans to expand to additional languages and markets in the future.
