Apple introduces 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air with M3 chip; India price starts at Rs. 1,14,900

Apple has introduced the new MacBook Air, following rumors, and it features the powerful M3 chip for enhanced performance and portability —available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, the lightweight design boasts a durable aluminum enclosure.

The MacBook Air includes a Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colors. With the M3 chip, the MacBook Air now supports up to two external displays when the lid is closed, ideal for business users and multitaskers.

It runs on the latest macOS and features Wi-Fi 6E for faster download speeds. Additionally, it includes MagSafe charging, Two Thunderbolt ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and a three-mic array for improved audio and video calls.

It also boasts an immersive sound system with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support. The backlit Magic Keyboard includes Touch ID for secure unlocking and Apple Pay.

Powered by the M3 chip built with 3nm technology, the MacBook Air offers faster performance and up to 18 hours of battery life. It delivers up to 60 percent faster performance than the previous model and supports hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing for gaming.

The M3 chip includes a 16-core Neural Engine for on-device machine learning, making the MacBook Air a powerful platform for AI. It can run optimized AI models locally and supports cloud-based solutions for productivity and creative apps.

Meeting the company’s Carbon Neutrality by 2030 goal, the MacBook Air is made with 50% recycled content and meets Apple’s energy efficiency standards. Packaging is 99% fiber-based, reducing plastic waste.
