motorola has started teasing the launch of a smartphone in India with #UnleashTheBeast, and says “Brace yourself for the ultimate performer and limitless entertainment”. This is expected to be moto g64 5G, successor to last year’s moto g54.
@evleaks aka Evan Blass has posted the image of the g64 5G which shows a similar design. It also reveals 50MP rear camera with OIS, secondary camera, flat sides, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, so we can expect an LCD screen.
The image shows Blue and Green colors with a smooth matte finish. It also hints at 256GB storage for the phone.
The phone has also surfaced in Geekbench listing revealing single-core score of 1026 and multi-core score of 2458. The phone is said to use MediaTek Dimensity 7025 6nm Octa Core processor (2 x 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 + 6 x 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs) with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU.
This is an overclocked version of 7020, but the performance and the GPU performance should be less than Dimensity 7200. The benchmark listing also reveals 12GB of RAM, but can can also expect a 8GB RAM version. It will run Android 14.
The phone is expected to be priced in Rs. 15000 range, similar to the g54. We should know more details in the coming days.
