Epson iPrint now available for Android


Epson iPrint is now available for Android phone. This app lets the users to print the photo and web pages, and scan, save and share the files to cloud services like Box.net, Dropbox and Evernote. The iPrint app for iPhone has been updated recently to version 2.0 that had lots of new features. These features are now included in the Android app.

Features of Epson iPrint for Andorid

  • Print documents, e-mail attachments and stored files from the app
  • Print directly from the cloud services such as Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs
  • Use the web browser on the phone to find and print the pages
  • Configure print options like paper size and type, number of copies and page range
  • Scan and share a file by sending it via an email or save it online or in the device
  • Check the printer’s status and ink levels from the app
  • Duplex scanning if it’s supported by the printer
  • Built-in FAQ section to troubleshoot the problems

Other than these this, the app also includes options to print multiple photos with or without borders, option to print in color or monochrome, optimize print quality, select scanning resolutions and image types and printer maintenance such as printer head cleaning and nozzle check.

This app supports select Epson Artisan, Stylus, WorkForce, WorkForce Pro, Stylus Office, Stylus Photo and ME OFFICE range of printers. You can check the detailed list of printer supported in the Android Market.
