TECNO has officially introduced the TECNO CAMON 30 Premier 5G after showcasing it at MWC 2024. It features TECNO’s own imaging system called PolarAce, with a Sony imaging chip (CXD5622GG) for high-quality video recording.
The phone offers industry-first features like 4K 30fps full-scene AI-noise reduction HDR video, ensuring detailed and color-accurate videos in different lighting. For the design, the company says it is inspired by rangefinder cameras, with a zoom ring, Action Dot for alerts, and suede Tech-Art Leather.
The highlight of the phone is the camera, as it boasts four cameras, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera supporting macro shots, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
It includes Dual-Chip Technology, which enables 4K Ultra-night Vision and 4K Portrait Video with 20-bit color restoration. It also has AI-based features like AI Erase, Social App Turbo, and multi-skin tone imaging technology.
Other features include a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 10-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has 512GB storage with 24GB of RAM, an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, it comes with a 5000mAh battery and 70W fast-charging support, promising over 7 hours of gaming, 30 hours of calling, or 8 hours of video viewing on a single charge. The battery maintains over 80% capacity after four years, claims TECNO.
In addition, the device features a linear vibration motor for haptic feedback and a 10-layer SoC cooling system.
