vivo has confirmed the launch of its flagship X100 Ultra, X100s and X100s Pro smartphones in China on May 13th.
vivo X100 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and pack a 1/1.4″ 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto camera, the industry’s largest telephoto camera. It will feature an f/2.67 aperture, a physical focal length of 22.48mm, and the high-pixel mode can output a resolution of 12888 x 16320, according to reports.
In addition, the phone is said to pack a 50MP 1″ LYT-900 main camera, an upgrade from IMX989 in the X100 Pro. The teaser shows a metal frame, curved screen, VARIO APO SONNAR periscope lens developed in partnership with ZEISS, f/1.75 to f/2.67 aperture, 14 to 85mm focal length.
The phone is said to support CIPA 4.5 level anti-shake gimbal, focusing on “high-speed sports”, “night portraits”, “extreme macro”, and more features. vivo has also shared images from the telephoto camera.
The phone is said to come in Titanium White and Black in 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB models.
The vivo X100S series is said to be the first to feature Dimensity 9300+ SoC, 120W GaN charger, UFCS integrated fast charging, 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED flat screen, and flat metal frame as well as a glass back.
The image shows a new green colour, VARIO TESSAR lens, f/1.57 to f/2.57 aperture, 15 to 70mm focal length.
The vivo X100s is said to come in Titanium Black, Blue and White colours and the X100s is expected to come only in Titanium Black and White. These are expected to be available in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB models.
